Welcome to the
mountains of North
Carolina!
Roam the winding
mountain back roads,
amble the wilderness
trails, picnic by the
babbling creeks of the
rolling terrain of the
Blue Ridge Mountains.
You'll know you're
somewhere special as
soon as you roll into
downtown Saluda, NC.
As you cross the bridge into town, you'll pass the Green River BBQ, a local watering
hole, and follow the Norfolk Southern Railway tracks through town. The public Library,
Old Depot station, and City Hall buildings will greet you with the same style they
greeted the original townspeople as they rode their horses into town. The many
historical buildings are well blended with the newer additions to town to give Saluda
that quaint rustic feel with a modern twist that "just feels like home".
