The parade is a favorite every year, and consists of mostly homemade floats, tractors, fire trucks, horses, motorcycles, dogs, and the reigning Coon Dog Royalty Court. The parade begins at 11:00 AM and marches down Main Street for over an hour. There are trophies awarded for the best floats in several categories, and the Master of Ceremonies announces as they go. The Coon Club conducts their shows and contests at the school yard in the afternoon, and people gather for the night street dance, complete with square dancing for all ages.
